AFL

We enter a team in the State Knockout competition each year.

Joe Molony, Mitchell Wallis and Lincoln Warne have gained positions on the Far South Coast AFL team. Mitch Wallis has continued on successfully earning a place on the South Coast AFL team.

Athletics

Our school Athletics Carnival is normally held each year during term 2 on the school oval. Students participate in a variety of events in their sporting house.

Our school cross country event is in Term 2 each year. Winners from this event go on to compete in the Zone Cross Country event.

At State in her age group Madi Whatman achieved an excellent 16th place. Fantastic effort Everyone!

Netball

We enter a team in the State Knockout competition each year.

This year Kye Lygon has made it through to far South Coast Under11s; Roly Stewart, wayde Aitken and Hayden Ferencz have represented our school in the 12/13 yrs.

 

Soccer

We enter a boys and girls team in this event each year.

Sammy Staines and Madi Whatman have been successful this year at gaining places on the Far South Coast Girls Soccer team. Madi has continued performing well enough to earn herself a place on the South Coast team. Great work girls!!

Softball

Swimming

The school swimming carnival is held in Term 1 each year at the Pambula Swimming Pool. Winners from this event go on to compete in the Zone swimming event. Zone winners compete at Region and regional winners compete at State.

McKell were the victorious House on the day.
Many thanks to Teacher Ian McAlpin for his organisation on the day, as well as thanks to all of the parents who helped out timekeeping.
Our Champion swimmers went onto FSC Zone Championships. Ebony Pointon was awarded Junior Girl and Amber McGarrity 11Yr Girl champions.
Rani Quin and Ebony Pointon went onto State winning a bronze and 2 silver for the school.
Rani now travels to Perth as a NSW state Rep to compete at the National titles later in the year. CONGRATS!!!

Triathlon

The school triathlon is a fundraiser. Children walk to Pambula sporting complex, run laps of the oval and swim laps of Pambula Community pool. A barbeque to celebrate our success is held before the children walk back to school.

What a fantastic day our annual school triathlon turned out to be! The weather was terrific, student participation was high, the whole day was extremely successful. We raised over $6500 for the school.
Many thanks go to Liz Pincini for the generous use of the bus, we would not hae been able to achieve as much without you!
Also much gratitude is extended to Brett from the Pool for his support and also to the many parents who walked, prepared the BBQ and generally helped make the day such a success.

TENNIS

This is the first year we have entered school representatives.

2009

Peter Gardiner won the right to become a South Coast Rep Tennis player earlier this year. Well done Peter!

EQUESTRIAN

This year our school has entered a number of Equestrian events.

Chloe Campbell, Isabelle Cox and Lilli Wigg have represented the school at the Regional Equestrian titles in Dalgety and are about to go to Berry to compete in the Equestrian Inter-School Championships. More news to come!
