About our Library
The purpose of the school library is to support the implementation of the school's teaching program and student learning.
We aim to support the work done in the classrooms, to develop the successful use of twenty-first century information skills and to promote reading for information and enjoyment.
Each class visits the library each week. In each session the students learn about books, how the library works
and / or complete activities that support the work being done in the classroom. Students are also expected to borrow and return books in this session. It is recommended that you familiarise yourself with the day your child attends the library to assist with the prompt returning of books.
The use of a library bag to protect books is encouraged.
