OPERATION

The school canteen operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at recess and lunchtime. It is managed by the P&C Canteen Committee through a part-time manager, Joanne Blanche. The manager is responsible for ordering saleable items and arranging work rosters for parent helpers.

VOLUNTEER ROSTER

The canteen needs the help of two volunteers daily. A workable roster of 40 helpers is needed each term. If you can help anytime, even occasionally, please contact the canteen manager or leave your name at the school office.

How to Order Lunches

Write your lunch order on a special lunch order bag and place the appropriate payment in it. The canteen does not extend credit for lunch orders.

Place the lunch order in the class lunch basket. The basket will be taken to canteen after school starts by class representatives. The canteen operators prepare the lunches, place them back in the lunch baskets (with change, if needed) and keep them until they are collected by class representatives at lunchtime. Certain items such as very hot or frozen items may need to be collected in person at lunchtime from the canteen. Bring the lunchbag with the item recorded on it to the canteen to exchange it for any outstanding items.

CANTEEN NEWSLETTERS

Canteen committee meeting dates, new pricelists, rosters and changes to item availability are distributed as part of the school newsletter.
