Profile

Pambula Public School, a NSW government school, is located at the northern end of Monaro Street overlooking the beautiful township of Pambula.

The school has a long and proud history of service to its community being the seventh national school established in Australia and now the fourth oldest public school in the country. The school was first opened in 1849 and began operation at its current location in 1907. New buildings were established in 1979.

The school supports around 340 students from Pambula township and the outlying areas of Lochiel, Greig's Flat, Merimbula, Millingandi, Pambula Beach and Wyndham. For details of the school zone please see the Enrolment page.

It has a well equipped library, six spacious free standing brick classrooms, five portable buildings, a hall, a well organised canteen and spacious, well tended grounds providing a combination of shaded and open playing areas for students.
