  • the education of the students is a partnership between the pupil, parents and staff and is dependent on open communication.
  • the school should be an environment in which students and staff can feel safe, happy and fulfilled.
  • the school should promote respect for self and others; healthy lifestyles; positive self-esteem and the maximisation of individual abilities.
  • all students have the ability to learn and succeed by catering for their individual learning rates and styles.
  • learning occurs best in an equal opportunity and socially tolerant environment.
  • "education" includes the academic, social, cultural, physical and emotional development of individuals.
